Why we have chose this as our target audience?
We as a group have decided to make this age group our chosen and targeted audience because this is normally the age group that is interested in Crime&Action movies and so we as a group effectively decided that this would be the best age group to target.
before we decided that this was going to be our chosen target audience we did a lot of research into what age groups enjoy and what age groups especially enjoy Crime & Action genre movies and through this research we were able to to find that the age group that are very fascinated with Crime and Action movies is the age group 15 and up through our research on various movie and cinema websites and found out that the most expenditure on Crime and Action genre films came from the age group 15+, even though we as a group have chosen this as our target audience we do also believe that our film can appeal to many other age groups and we believe that his film has attributes that can fit each and every age group and we feel that even though our film appeals to the 15+ age range we hope and believe it will be a hit amongst all age groups during the film we try to convey the image of young aspiring criminals through their actions.
Why does our film appeal to our target audience?
we as a group believe our USP(unique selling point) that makes our film different to other movies of the same genre is that the characters that are involved in the film is that are younger than most characters that are included and we feel because of the age gap between the gap and most crime & action films means that our more younger target audience can relate with the characters and build closer relationships with characters and have a felling of understanding with characters circumstances, obstacles etc.
